In an
atmosphere of contemplation, this retreat will focus on the awareness
and appreciation of how parables are a part of spiritual direction.
Parables from scripture will be used to assist us in re-imagining how
life might be lived. Ritual will be incorporated to help us be
more conscious of "...that which is beyond our knowing but not
beyond our loving."

"Listening to
the Listeners"
A day for
spiritual directors and listening companions to gather and listen as
a group to the movement of Spirit in our midst. How is the
Spirit moving in spiritual direction? Where are you listening?
Are you listening in formal one-on-one or group spiritual direction?
Or are you using the skills learned in other ministries and arenas?
How is the Spirit inviting us to grow? How can Audire best
support our graduates and area spiritual directors? What are
some of the challenges and concerns that face us? What does
this ministry look like from a pastor's perspective? This day
will invite discussion and the gathering of group wisdom among
spiritual directors and listening companions.
