What is AUDIRE?

bullet

AUDIRE is the Latin word meaning "to listen"

bullet

AUDIRE is a three year formation program that introduces a person to the ministry of spiritual

direction.  The program consists of several components: classroom instruction,        assigned reading,

journaling, written papers, prayer, supervision, and practice.  The program provides solid Christian

education, formative experiences in Christian spirituality, and opportunities to increase listening

skills.  The goal of the program is to help a person discern their gifts and to acquire the necessary

skills to be effective ministers of a contemplative-evocative approach to spiritual direction.
